When working with mordants & modifiers use well ventilated area and face mask.
Alum acetate is a good alternative mordant to use on cellulose fibres compared to Alum. It creates a stronger bond with the fibre thus creating richer more saturated colours on cellulose fibres.
Use Alum acetate after your tannin bath. Not recommended for protein fibres.
5 - 8% WOF
Alum acetate bath may be kept and re used several times.
