Our new Heirloom Kits are made to inspire you to create a beautiful gift for someone special, or to honour a special event such as a baby shower, a wedding or a harvest from grandma's garden.
The Heirloom Linen Scarf Kit contains everything you will need to create your piece, using our non-toxic, all natural & organic textiles, dyes and mordants to prepare the cloth to accept colour, and to make the colour last. Colours can also be transferred from fresh picked flowers and leaves.
This Linen Scarf works equally well as a wrap as it's a generous 240cm long x 60cm wide.
A perfect activity for all ages, Our 100% French Flax Linen Scarf can be dyed all the one colour, tie dyed, dip dyed to create a balayage effect, or coloured with the pigment from foraged botanicals. How lovely to be able to take colour from a wedding bouquet, or blooms & leaves picked on a special holiday, and 'print' their colour onto a textile momento.
Our Heirloom Linen Scarf Kit contains :

*The process for achieving blue colour from Indigo Dye is completely different from the process used for all of the above dye colours. If you would like to use Indigo for your project, consider ordering one of our Indigo Dye Kits along with this Heirloom Kit, or with a single item from our Dyeables Collection.
